Achensee

Ski areas located around the magical high-alpine lake of Achensee, close to the German border in northern Tirol.

Alpbach

Alpbach is a stunning village with a slopeside satellite resort at Inner Alpbach. Tree-lined skiing, linked into Wildschonau and plenty of mountain huts.

Au – Schoppernau

The twin villages of Au and Schoppernau are Bregenzerwald beauties with stunning scenery and huge snowbanks.

Axamer Lizum

Axamer Lizum is the highest and wildest ski area around Innsbruck. With stunning scenery and incredible off-piste, Lizum is the go-to place for Innsbruck locals.

Brixen

Brixen is a central part of the Ski Welt ski region, an extensive ski region that overlooks the remarkable Wilder Kaiser mountain range near Kitzbühel.

Dachstein Glacier

The highest skiing in the region, the Dachstein Glacier offers snow sure skiing for the Schladming area and epic high-altitude ski touring routes.

Damuls

With record-breaking snow and huge bowls of off-piste terrain, Damuls is one of western Austria’s undiscovered jewels of skiing.

Ehrwald

Located beneath the towering Zugspitz peak, Ehrwald is part of the Zugspitz Arena ski region and offers treelined skiing

Ellmau

Ellmau is one of the bigger resorts in the extensive Ski Welt ski region, with big ski terrain and endless mountain huts.

Fieberbrunn

Fieberbrunn is an off-piste Mecca and is part of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski region.

Finkenberg

Finkenberg is the neighbouring resort to Mayrhofen and offers good access to the Hintertux Glacier and is the ski-out resort for the Mayrhofen ski area.

Fiss

The central resort in the superb Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region, Fiss offers superb skiing and a charming village.

Flachau

The leading resort in the Ski Amade ski region, with connected ski areas and excellent apres ski.

Galtur

Galtür is the neighbouring resort to Ischgl, offering access to the world-class Ischgl ski area and its own ski mountain, high in the Paznaun Valley.

Gargellen

One of the principal ski resort in the Montafon ski area, Gargellen offers great scenery and excellent snow.

Gerlos

Central resort in the fantastic Zillertal Arena ski region, with connected ski areas on both sides of the Gerlos sector.

Hinterglemm

The twin village in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski region. Great apres ski and many lifts accessing the big ski area.

Hintertux Glacier

The only location in Austria which offers skiing 365 days a year on its high-altitude glacier.

Hochgurgl

The highest ski resort in Austria and 2nd highest in the Alps, Hochgurgl is ski-in, ski-out, snow-sure and access a great ski area.

Hochkrimml

Located at the far end of the Zillertal Arena ski region, Hochkrimml has skiing overlooking the nearby lake.

Hochötz

The first ski area in the Ötzal Valley and a near-neighbour of the Kühtai ski area.

Hochsolden

Hochsölden is the 2nd highest ski resort in Austria. It is fully ski-in, ski-out and is located in the heart of the Sölden ski area.

Innsbruck

The capital of the Alps, Innsbruck hosts several ski resorts around the city as well as glacier skiing just south.

Ischgl

The world’s best apres ski and a ski area to match. The off-piste in Ischgl is legendary.

Kappl

The neighbouring resort to Ischgl in the Paznaun Valley, Kappl has a good altitude and some fantastic off-piste terrain.

Kaprun

One of the principal ski resorts in the Salzburg region, Kaprun accesses Zell am See skiing, its own ski area at Maiskogel and also the fantastic Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.

Kaunertal Glacier

High and remote, the Kaunertal Glacier has some of the highest skiing in Austria and a legendary snow park.

Kirchberg

Kirchberg is the near neighbour of Kitzbühel and shares the ski area with this world-famous ski resort.

Kitzbuhel

One of the biggest names in world skiing, Kitzbühel is iconic, and its Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm ski race is the most feared in the world.

Kitzsteinhorn Glacier

Located above Kaprun and offering the highest skiing in the region south of Salzburg, the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier offers skiing from early Autumn to summer.

Konigsleiten

A ski-in, ski-out, high-altitude chalet resort in the heart of the wonderful Zillertal Arena ski region.

Krippenstein

The freeride capital of the region, the ‘Krip’ offers a couple of links and an expanse of superb off-piste terrain.

Kuhtai

Located at over 2000m elevation, Kühtai offers slopeside and ski-in, ski-out hotels and a long ski season.

One of the 3 resorts of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region, Ladis offers a charming and relaxed village and access to the fantastic ski region.

Mayrhofen

Nauders

Nauders is a ski resort located on the border with Italy and shares a ski region with Italian neighbours to the south

Nordpark

The toughest skiing in the region, Nordpark offers precipitous off-piste terrain, high above Innsbruck.

Obergurgl

Together with the ski-in, ski-out Hochgurgl, Obergurgl offers skiing to over 3000m on the southern border with Italy.

Patscherkofel

An iconic Olympic ski area that dominates the skyline to the south of Innsbruck.

Pitztal Glacier

The Pitztal Glacier offers the highest skiing in Austria with a top lift height over 3400m.

Rifflsee

The neighbouring ski area to the Pitztal Glacier, Rifflsee, is located at the end of the Pitztal Valley and has an impressive top height of 2800m. The glacier funicular can be reached via the lower slopes.

Saalbach

The principal ski resort in the region south of Salzburg, Saalbach is at the heart of the region’s best ski area and biggest après ski.

Scheffau

A pretty village with ski-in access to the extensive Ski Welt ski region.

Schladming

The biggest ski resort in the area, with a thrilling FIS race, extensive intermediate skiing, glacier skiing at the Dachstein Glacier and great après ski.

Schlick

A compact and scenic ski area just south of Innsbruck, offering fantastic off-piste terrain.

Seefeld

A series of ski hills on a plateau above the Innsbruck Valley, Seefeld has a fantastic resort and excellent snow record.

Serfaus

The main resort, accessing the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region, has quality hotels that access the superb ski region.

Solden

One of the giants of skiing in the Alps, Sölden has superb après ski, a 2km vertical and twin glaciers above the village.

Soll

Located beneath the steepest and best skiing in the Ski Welt ski region, Söll offers extensive intermediate skiing and expert après ski.

St Anton

One of the biggest brands in world skiing, St Anton offers incredible skiing, on and off-piste and world-beating après ski.

St Christoph

The highest ski resort in the Arlberg ski region, St Christoph offers great access to the slopes and upmarket hotels.

Stuben

Possibly the best off-piste skiing in the Alps, Stuben am Arlberg is an iconic destination with a charming village.

Warth-Schrocken

Reputed to be the snowiest ski area in the Alps, Warth-Schröcken is the northernmost sector of the fabulous Arlberg ski region.

Westendorf

Westendorf has superb terrain in both directions, located between the Ski Welt and the Kitzbühel ski regions.

Zauchensee

Zauchensee is a ski-in, ski-out resort, one of the highest in the region, with great access to the Ski Amadé ski region.

Zell am See

The lakeside beauty of Zell am See offers skiing above the town, in neighbouring Kaprun, and on the towering Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.
